Our shin sleeves are designed with a 5mm neoprene padding in the front for extra protection. The back zipper makes our breathable, compressing fit shin sleeves easy to get on and off, while the foot stirrup and silicone grips at the top of the sleeves keep them in place for the entire workout.
I never write reviews, but felt I had to for these (shin sleeves). I ordered them after witnessing a guy slice his shins open on a missed box jump. They arrived Saturday and I wore them to Monday’s WOD which coincidentally involved box jumps. Well, I slipped and one of my shins hit the box. The damage is so minimal compared to if I had bare shins. I have a bruise, but no blood, broken skin or stitches. I will always wear these on box jump days.

Sturdy and Manageable
I use this (Burpee Box Jump Strongman Sandbag) for sandbag carries. It sits easy on the shoulders as well as holding tight to my body. A good addition to my garage gym.
